4 Easy-Switch Working Modes

The Autel PS100 Power Circuit Probe Kit supports four working modes:

• DC Voltage

• AC Voltage

• Resistance

• Tone On/Off

In AC Voltage mode, it can read Max/Min voltage, frequency, and duty cycle.
In Resistance mode, it measures resistance between the probe tip and auxiliary ground lead.
In Tone On/Off mode, users can disable the audio tone for long-duration tests.
Switch quickly among modes with a single press of the Mode button.

Component Activation Function

The PS100 enables component activation in three scenarios — in-hand, in-vehicle, or with ground. It can generate activation signals to test components such as lights, motors, wipers, radiator fans, relays, and fuel injectors.
Additionally, it can help identify bad ground contacts — LED indicators provide an instant visual cue to confirm proper grounding.

Polarity & Continuity Identification

The PS100 instantly identifies positive, negative, and open circuits:

• Red LED + Beep: Positive terminal

• Green LED + Low Tone: Negative terminal

• No Light: Open circuit

This quick feedback system helps detect component continuity and polarity in just seconds.

Overload Protection & Self-Test

The Autel PowerScan PS100 includes a built-in circuit breaker to protect against overloads. If the tool becomes overloaded, the breaker trips automatically — safeguarding both the device and the components under test.
A quick self-test function ensures reliable operation before use: flip the switch forward or backward, and the LED and tone response confirms working status.

Built-in Flashlight & 20ft Extension Cable

Work efficiently in dark environments with the integrated flashlight. The 20-foot (extendable) cable provides excellent reach across the vehicle, enabling convenient testing from bumper to bumper.
